Helping Heroes Heal Program Director

Kaui Mayural is a former U.S. Navy SEAL who was awarded the Bronze Star with “V” and Purple Heart along with other awards and decorations from his operational time as a SEAL and was also a 

BUD/s instructor at the Naval Special Warfare center. Kaui then went on to serve 8 years as a Defense & Intelligence contractor with over 10 deployments overseas. 

He is currently the program director of the Helping Heroes Heal Program with the America’s Mighty Warriors foundation and is employed with Echelon Front as a training instructor with their FTX program.

Kaui served in Ramadi with Marc Lee, KIA 8-2-06, at SEAL Team 3 in Task unit “Bruiser” Commanded by Jocko Willink. Kaui survived a gunshot wound during that same deployment that would drastically change his life and He struggled with losing some of his closest teammates in the war. 

When he returned home, his PTSD and TBI symptoms overwhelmed him to the point he couldn’t function normally in society or even leave his home. He struggled with his transition to normal life outside of the combat zone, felt hopeless and that he had no purpose in life. In the midst of the darkness, Kaui got connected with Momma Lee and AMW and has experienced amazing healing through the Helping Heroes Heal Program and now lives a hopeful life, through Christ, with a new purpose and mission.

Kaui is married, has two boys and lives in the state of Florida.
